Dear Parents and Guardians
We hope you are all well and looking forward to the Christmas holidays.
At this time of year parents often wish to show their appreciation to their child’s class teacher. While this is never expected we understand the very kind sentiment behind these generous gestures.
This year, following prompts from your Parents’ Association, the teachers would like to suggest that rather than getting them a present, we would have a collection for those less fortunate than us. There will be a collection box at the bottom of each classroom for the St Vincent de Paul. Children can leave any donation there if you so wish. We are collecting non perishable foodstuff, new gifts or new toys for needy children. Please do not send in money.
If you would like to donate, the closing date is Friday, 13th December to allow for distribution the following week.
Again, we appreciate your generosity and support and thank you all in advance.
