We were visited by the amazing Éanna Ní Lamhna who spoke to us and educated us all about pollen, bees, nectar and many other wonderful insects. It is really important that we try our best to plant beautiful flowers full of pollen for our bees or else we may not have many of them left.
Éanna also spoke to us about how a beautiful oak tree can grow from a tiny little acorn seed. Did you know that Ireland is a country with very little forestry (only 11% of our land is covered by trees) and trees are so vital for our environment as it provides us with lots of oxygen.
