Well done to both of our teams who played some brilliant football at the Meath FAI 5 aside competition held in the MDL, Navan.
Our B team beat Moynalvey B 2-0 and came back from 2-0 down to beat Boardsmill A 3-2 but unfortunately lost out to Kildalkey A 2-1. They showed great character in every game and scored some super goals.
Our A team beat Kildalkey B, Yellow Furze A and Bohermeen B in the group stage. That meant we qualifed for the next stage where we beat Gaelscoil na Ríthe 4-2 and Wilkinstown 1-0.
We are now through to the Meath finals, time and date are yet to be finalised.
