Here in 5th class we have been learning all about light and today we conducted an experiment to investigate dispersion. Dispersion is when white light is broken up into many colours. Did you know that this is how a rainbow is formed? When light from the sun shines through a rain drop the light is separated into the many pretty colours we see when we see a rainbow in the sky. Why not try this experiment at home yourself- all you need is a torch, piece of paper and a cd. ?
