First Class celebrated World Book Day today. Some of our class dressed up as their favourite characters, see their wonderful costumes in the picture below! We also made bookmarks and enjoyed some extra DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) time. World Book Day allows us to celebrate authors, books and most importantly reading. The great thing about reading is that it “Gives us some place to go when we have to stay where we are”. (Mason Cooley)
