Happy Easter

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I hope this letter finds you and all your loved ones well and that you are all coping with the challenge of responding to this global health emergency.

We hope that the work the teachers have been posting on the website are of great use to you and our pupils. As I mentioned before these lessons are not intended to cause stress to you or your children rather it is hoped that staying engaged with school work and keeping to a regular schedule will be helpful.

The teachers will continue their weekly updates over the coming weeks. You will also find other useful links on the website – look under NEWS or Recent Posts. The example of a Plan for The Day might be of particular interest to anyone looking to create a schedule.

Bishop Deenihan wrote in a letter this morning, “Easter is a time of hope and joy.Our Easter this year will certainly be different. However, I wish you that joy and hope that comes with Christ’s victory over death.”

Finally as I wish you all a very Happy Easter and all the very best in your continued efforts I’d like to quote Michael D Higgins. Yesterday in his speech broadcast on local radios around the country he said “Casann an roth – The Wheel turns. This virus will pass.”

Go néirí libh go léir,

Kieran Watters
