Even though they have separate non-Covid-19 emergency departments, Children’s Health Ireland has seen more than a 50% drop in patients presenting to them since the outbreak.There are about 200 cases of childhood cancer in Ireland every year.
Since the outbreak of Covid-19, very few new cases are presenting. This is very
worrying as it obviously means children are not been brought to the doctor
for fear of Covid-19. This is a message worth getting to parents and the
video is very short.
