Work began on our new School Garden this week, 31st January 2022. The new garden will be on the site of the old Walking Garden which was more or less destroyed with the construction of the stand alone classroom in 2018. We were delighted to secure the funding for this project from the Knockharley Community Grant Scheme administered by Meath County Council.
Our new garden will have a wildflower meadow, a woodland trail, raised beds for planting vegetables and a picnic area too! We will also include an outdoor classroom ! Work began by clearing the site which was totally overgrown. You can follow the progress over the coming weeks here.

Day 10 11th February Theres’s real shape on it now. First class say they are looking forward to having a BBQ on the new “patio!!”
