For Task 4, Third Class made a special effort to bring Irish produce to school for lunch. We had fun looking at and eating the delicious fruit and veg. Some children brought home-made soup made with Irish veg and plenty of herbs too!
We looked up some recipes online that we could use our Irish fruit and veg as ingredients for, including Vegetable Lasagne, Spanish Omelette, Carrot Cake and many more and discovered that we can use our Irish produce to make dishes from around the world…yum! Some children tried out their recipes at home.
