Volcano – 5th Class

To explore the Explanation genre in English, 5th class researched and wrote about how volcanoes are formed.

Then, in science, they worked in teams to create a volcano crater out of everyday items in the classroom, and then mimicked an eruption by creating an acid-base reaction. Boom!
