First class have been taking part in the Picker Pals Programme for a few weeks now. They have been learning about how litter picking helps the environment along with how to go about litter picking safely. Every Friday one child from the class gets to bring the ‘picker pack’ home. This includes a booklet with information, two litter pickers, two pairs of gloves, a high vis and plastic bags. The children go litter picking with their families and help to create a cleaner and more environmentally friendly place. They have already collected many bags of litter. Maith sibh!!
