This week First Class were learning all about fashion in SESE.
For history, the children brought in old pictures from home, that showed fashion from different eras. Some children also brought in clothes that their parents wore as babies and children. The children worked together to put the pictures in order, creating a timeline.
For Science, the children worked in teams to create a jacket for a teddy bear by using a variety of materials. This was a great exercise for practicing leadership skills, communication skills and teamwork skills. The children created jackets with lots of layers for comfort and warmth. They also included waterproof elements.
