Lets investigate rocks! – 2nd and 3rd class.

In second and third class, we have been studying rocks and soils in Geography and Science this week.

Today we were working as Geologists by investigating and analysing rocks from our school yard and school garden.

We first gathered a variety of rocks during our field study and then began our investigation inside the laboratory. We analysed these rocks based on their shape, colour and texture. We also investigated whether these rocks can float and whether they are permeable.

We concluded our experiment by sharing our findings.

Well done to all the geologists in second and third class today!
