Rang a hAon had a blast planting their very own spider plants this week.
Rang a hAon has a spider plant in their classroom which was a lot smaller in September than it is now. They named it ‘Jimmy’.
Today, the children chose a name for their new plant and designed a label for their pot. They then filled their pot with compost and poked a hole down the middle. They cut a ‘spiderette’ from Jimmy and placed it down in their pot before watering it for the first time.
The children are so proud of their little plants and can’t wait to see them grow. Now they will always have a keepsake from rang a hAon that will grow with them!
