First Class had a great day today for World Book Day.
They all introduced their book and character to the class this morning. They named the author and illustrator before talking about the book.
They then did a cross word in pairs before doing a ‘book scavenger hunt’ in groups of four. They chose books from the library and had a list of things to find in their books. This was great fun!!
For art, the children drew their character or their favorite part of a story as they listened to music from ‘Matilda’.
We also had a special appearance from Matilda and Ms. Trunchbull today!!
