Happy world book day to all of the Verucca Salts, witches, footballers, Harry potters, horrid Henrys and other characters that appeared in our classroom today!
Senior infants had the opportunity to explore different types of books today from national geographical, to Julia Donaldson to old classics. They then picked their favourite and redesigned the covers.
During the week they also met with the 5th/6th class students who asked them about their interests and spent the week writing and making a book for each of them. They read these to them and senior infants showed their buddies their favourite books and read some of them.
