Today, our school celebrated World Poetry Day!
Second and third class teamed up with fourth class to explore and create ‘Found Poetry’.
‘Found poetry’ involves taking existing texts and refashioning them, reordering them, and presenting them as poems.
Using newspapers, the children collaborated to created poems. They created a range of poems exploring themes of happiness, the weather and even food!
Well done to all our poets today, they all created very unique and interesting poetry.
