We have been learning about the Norman invasion of Ireland over the last 2 weeks. We wrote reports on the Normans and designed and painted Motte and Bailey Castles in Art.
At the National History Museum on Friday last, we discovered that the Norman’s brought rabbits to Ireland and at the National Gallery of Ireland we saw Daniel Maclise’s painting, “The Marriage of Strongbow and Aoife”.
