5th/ 6th class had a very busy week.
- They have been running lots of laps as their goal is to run the distance from Dublin to Rome before we break up for the Easter holidays. Yesterday they reached the 1,000km mark. They only have 621km left to run.
- On Wednesday, the class took part in their ‘Lá Gaeilge’. They participated in many different activities through Gaeilge. Some of the activities included damhsa gaelach, ealaín, tráth na gceist agus cluichí éagsúla.
- We also had World Book Day this week! Some of the children really took this opportunity to disguise themselves as one of their favourite characters from a book. You can see some of them in the picture below, running their laps in their costumes.
