Well done to all the children in sixth class who trained and played in the Meath Primary Schools basketball competition recently. This is the first time Kentstown NS have competed in this sport and it was great to see so many in sixth class get involved.
We played matches away against Wilkinstown NS and Gaelscoil na Rithe, and at home versus Skryne NS and Bohermeen NS. It was great to play indoors and outdoors at different venues and lovely to have so much support from classes in the school when we played at home.
Well done on your participation sixth class and you have inspired younger classes to want to take part in basketball in the future! 🏀
