Kentstown NS Pride of Place Garden Project

Over the last few weeks Kentstown NS have been working very hard at completing a garden project for the Meath County Council Pride of Place. This year we worked towards achieving level 3 which involved creating a plan to increase biodiversity in our school, adding a range of features (such as a wildflower garden, bug hotel, log pile, bird feeders, scarecrow), planting a range of fruit, veg, trees and shrubs and, learning about a range of plants and mini-beasts. A huge well done to all classes and teachers for their hard work and dedication and, to all parents who helped and donated what they could to assist us. I’m sure you will all agree our school grounds look fantastic as a result ☺️??????
